I am attaching my photos for June. It has been such an unusual spring, as I
know you probably have read. We finally experienced budburst of the birch
tree in front of our house (not in my SIMB plot) on 23 May. This was one of
the latest green ups I have ever remembered. The additionally amazing fact,
is that during the last 10 days, and after some record cold weather, we
have had very, very warm weather, many days close to 28 or 30 C!
Consequently, green up has advanced very quickly and within another week I
would guess that we will be " caught up" to where the phenological stages
average for many plants.
