I am submitting my SIMB images for Jan 2014. I apologize for them appearing so dark. It is an overcast day and even at the brightest time of the day it is quite dim. However, we "turned the corner" at Solstice, last month, and will slowly be gaining daylight back. Today the sun rose at 10:54 am and will set at 2:59 pm, for a total length of 4 hours 5 minutes. This is already an increase of 24 minutes since 21 December.
The total snow depth is 440 mm and the temperature at solar noon, when I took the images, was -13C.
We had a fair amount of snow last month and the temperature only dropped to -40F on one or two days. We shall see what January brings our way.
