We have had a fairly dry spring. The farmers have started to get their crops in.
The signs of spring are the flowers and flowering trees. There is an old saying, "April showers bring May flowers".
During the 1990's and early 2000's, that became not true. The flowers came in April because spring would come early. Since the oceans are now steering colder air into the Great Lakes the last several years, the cooler spring leads to May flowers again.
