I attached a picture from Jan. 14 showing the ice on the river. I got to skate outside for a number of days on the ice rink I make each year. But, it got really warm the last few days so the ice on the river melted. So, we are expected to have another few days of warm weather and then it is going to get cold again. Some meteorologists are saying that it will be really cold, i.e. the polar vortex will settle over the eastern US like the last 2 winters. But, since spring will be coming, it will have to be a short really cold period.
