March was snowy and cold in Estonia. During the first decade temperatures
at night dropped to -20 and there was about 30 cm-s of snow. From 10 March
it started becoming warmer, the daytime temperatures rose above zero, we
got some rain and the snowcover started to melt. At the end of March snow
could be found only in the forests. Snowdrops were blooming in my garden,
coming through the snow and lots of starlings were busy with building
nests. I found all my tulips coming out of the ground and I saw our stork
on the nest but then he/she disappeared again.
