The bottom picture shows how termites formed mud tubes going up the saguaro. This is
common during rainy season. It can cause some scarring on the saguaro, but will not
kill it. However, termite tubes on the foundation of your house are not good. They
can destroy the wood framing in your house if the ground and nests are not treated
chemically to kill the termites.
