Here is the May picture from Livermore, California. The grass on the
hills is turning brown, and will be al brown by the end of the month.
The grass fades even though our weather has been much cooler than
average.
This weekend, snow continues to fall in the Sierra Nevada Mountains
and rainstorms are affecting northern California. This is very
unusual! The Tour of California bicycle race was scheduled to start
today. Riders were to ride 120 km around Lake Tahoe in the Sierra
Nevada Mountains, but were snowed completely.
