After February's record rains and snows, the state of California is now out of a drought. This is the first time that the state is drought-free since 2011.
Temperatures are still relatively mild. Wild flowers are slow to bloom. In the southwest, however, a second year with a super bloom is expected. A superbloom indicates abundant wildflowers, and is typically not a common event.
