Spring here in North Carolina has been interesting. According to the annual, or seasonal totals we have had good precipitation. However what we have had are several intense storms that have punctuated longer dry periods.
It has also been unusually cold. The Potatoes that I planted in the garden in early March are just now sprouting in mid-May. Green-up was a bit later than some previous years.
