Here is my August image
I just returned from nearly two weeks in Hawaii, studying the volcanoes on the big island... a fantastic experience. I did not realize initially that where I was going ... to Hilo HI was a rain-forest... and WOW it rains a lot there!!
Since returning home it has been very wet here! In the last two weeks, we have had OVER 25 cm of rain! (This is particularly significant because this is more 1/4 of our average annual rainfall!) Everything is green and the ground is saturated. It will certainly be nice once the sun comes out again!
