Here is the July picture from Raudavatn. We have had a lot of rain the last weeks and people are very tired of not seeing the sun. But we have enough water these days. The temperature the day that the picture was taken was 17 ° C which is a lot here in Iceland. The name of the lake is Raudavatn which means Red lake and perhaps it is named so because of the vegetation that lives in the water and nearly cover it in the late summer and it looks like the water is coloured red.
