When the picture was taken it was 6-degree heat during the day and freezing at nights. There are rigid northerly winds and we don't feel spring yet. The spring is rather late now compared to previous years. The golden plover has arrived and they stay in inhabited areas to get something to eat but that is rather unusual. The arctic tern has just arrived but it came a week later than it is accustomed to. But we hope the spring is just around the corner. This was the first day that we saw a bumble bee. Actually there is one to be seen, zooming in on the willow branches on the left.
