July picture was taken on July 10, 2015. The temperature was 8 degrees centigrade. Summer has barely established. In the North there is still much snow and cold and people want to get more heat and sun. Now it is bright, almost all day around. People are starting to go hiking in the mountains, but some Highland roads are still closed and it is unusually late as they open. In the south where Raušavatn is we have had more heat and more sun in June and July. We have awfully many tourists now visiting the land, it is three times as many as the inhabitants or over a million and we are not ready to invite so many tourists to our country and many Icelanders are complaining about this. But we have a beautiful country and we understand that other people like to come and enjoying it with us.
