February picture was taken just before the storm strikes last sunday. The temperature was about 2 ° C and nearly managed to melt the snow on the hiking trail and there was sleet or raining occasionally all day. We do not see the mountains on the picture as usual and the water is still ice-covered. The day is getting longer again and the picture is taken around 18:30 and it is still bright for an hour or so in addition. We have had rather a hard winter with snow from time to time so that the earth has been covered with snow from October / November, and it is still covered with snow. Hope the next picture from Raudavatn will show less snow and more sun.
