At last we got some snow and clear weather. It snowed 51 cm in Reykjavik (as mentioned above) three days before, a record snow depth in February. The temperature was a few degrees below freezing and the northern lights were glittering in the sky so it was ideal to click the picture for March. Rauðavatn lake is now covered with ice and snow. Finally it stopped raining and we got a northerly blue cold weather.
