We have now got snow in the mountains around Reykjavik. The temperature was about 4 degrees Celsius when the photo was taken and the leaves are beginning to fall off the trees.
September was pretty cool in the whole country. Temperatures were well below average for the last ten years, but almost average for the years 1961 to 1990. The northern arteries were frequent in the middle of the month, but instead we had nice clear and sunny weather in the south west part of Iceland.
