We are starting to see morning temperatures in the high 20s Fahrenheit here in south-central Alaska. We have had one snowfall in mid-October, but it is all melted away now. Ice is forming on north-facing slopes, and there has been snow down to about the 3000 foot level in the mountains since late September.
