October 2015: When I planted this apple tree it didn't bear fruit. After some years I planned to replace it, but the following autumn it was full of apples. And also this year I have to stake it because it bears so many apples. Although it was rather dry this variety of apple developed well. October is the main picking season for apples in my region (September for early varieties).
