June 2023: Spring pasque flower [Pulsatilla vernalis] (Pelz-Anemone): It was on over 2000m a.s.l. when I spotted between fields of snow some unusually thick flower buds: spring pasque flowers! And in spite of the still quite wintery scenery a bumblebee arrived and checked the flower for nectar.
