(Use the player above.) Here in the upper Baltschieder valley you can see the place where they branch the water from the river. It's a simple but genious idea to lead the water to the end of the valley at a much higher level than the river and thus can water the cultures on the slope. As long as the glacier doesn't melt completely there is water all the year round.
