In German the name of the St. John's wort [Hypericum perforatum] (Johanniskraut) means that it's in bloom around Midsummer's Day = Johannistag = Jaanipäev = St. John's day = June 24th. Normally it's in bloom earlier but this year I saw it in full bloom on July 6th only.
