Changes in the last month: Arctic: The Hudson Bay is completely ice-free, and even the Hudson Street (between Newfoundland and Baffin Island) is open. Also Alaska and the whole Siberian coastline are iceless. Svalbard is still at the edge of the Arcitc sea ice. Only between Greenland / Canada and the North Pole remained an ice covered area. Antarctica: The sea ice around Antarctica changes at it edges and the area was decreasing by several hundred thousand km2 during the last few days for any reason (should still grow).
