Autumn crocus [Colchicum autumnale] (Herbstzeitlose): Crocuses are early spring flowers and belong to the Iridaceae whereas these autumn crocuses belong to the Colchicaceae plant family which is part of the order Liliales. It contains clochicine which is used for drugs and is a mitotic poison. You don't see any leaves on the picture: they appear in spring only when they are taken for wild garlic leaves [Allium ursinum] (Bärlauch): this ends fatally most of the time (90%). This flower is one of my indicators for autumn: When the purple flowers appear on meadows and banks they tell you that autumn is coming.
