As autumn was mild until after Christmas this rosebush developed flowers again, but they were surprised by the onset of winter. It was mild all over Europe, so it is a legitimate question to ask: Where did the cold come from overnight? Where can it come from when for hundreds of kilometers temperatures are above zero? - Or where was the heat going?
